2005-06: Played in 30 games and had a 4-5-9 scoring line as a freshman...got his first collegiate point on an assist on Dennis McCauley's goal in NU's 2-1 loss to North Dakota on Oct. 14...scored his first two goals as a Husky and added and assist in a 7-5 loss at Rensselaer on Oct. 28...assisted on Joe Vitale's second goal in a 5-3 loss to Vermont at Matthews Arena on Nov. 1...assisted on Jimmy Russo's first goal in a 2-0 victory over Massachusetts on Nov. 11 at Matthews Arena...netted his third goal of the season in 4-3 loss to Boston College on Jan. 6...scored in a 2-2 at UMass Lowell on Jan. 21.
Before NU: Played three seasons for the Espoo Blues Junior “A” team, serving as the team’s captain his final two seasons...posted a scoring line of 16-13-29 in 36 games for the Blues in 2005...helped Blues to a bronze medal at the Finnish Championship in 2003-04...that season, scored 12 goals in 39 games for the Blues and was named the team’s MVP...played for the Espoo Junior “B” team in 2001-02 and was team captain.
