2009-10 Season: Collected one assist on 11-15-09 against Albany. 2008-09 Season: Scored his first goal of the season on October 17, 2008 at Providence. Was limited to 28 games due to injury. Was named the Falcons’ Top Defensive Player of the Year Award winner. 



Career Notes: Spent the 2007-08 season with the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack collecting three goals and 10 assists for 13 points and 129 penalty minutes in 77 games played. He ranked second on the Wolf Pack in games played by a defenseman and he also had a plus/minus rating of +15 in 07-08. 



Jake has played in a total of 229 career AHL contests collecting five goals and 28 assists for 33 points and 494 penalty minutes. Prior to turning pro, he spent the 2003-04 campaign with the University of Minnesota where he helped lead the Golden Gophers to a WCHA Tournament Championship. 



DRAFTED: New York Rangers round six (177th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. ACQUIRED: Signed a standard American Hockey League contract with the Falcons on July 7, 2008.
